Oh To Be Wise Meditations

But he said to them, ‘I have food to eat that you know nothing about . . . My food,’ said Jesus, ‘is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.’”—John 4:32, 34

True satisfaction is found in doing the will of God and enjoying his presence. Just like food is one of the best satisfactions in life so is Knowing God and doing his Will.

A Prayer from devotional I am reading so good:

Blessed are You, Father in heaven, Lord of all, who gives us the food we eat, who fills us with the Holy Spirit, and whose work satisfies the soul, unlike any meal. Open my eyes, dear Lord, to Your work and daily increase my appetite for the food Jesus spoke of. Amen.
