Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The LORD weighs our hearts and motives, He watches over every person's soul, both to safeguard and to inspect. He will take both the heart and deed into account when he renders his judgment. A person's behavior determines his ability to understand God's justice. When an evil person habitually disobeys the law, they will be less and less able to think straight about moral issues. But the person who seeks the Lord will find that they are increasingly able to understand moral issues of right and wrong. Rejection of God's standards leads to moral blindness and depravity. Obedience to God produces true knowledge because his character is the standard for all truth and justice. Praise God the righteous are blessed with complete understanding because they are in relationship with Christ. Not only is he the key to God's mystery, He is the key that opens all the hidden treasures of God's wisdom and knowledge. Meditate Col. 1:27
