Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Be Somebody. Everybody wants to be somebody. Somebody important and successful. Somebody well known and sought after. To have a following and to be revered and honored by your peers. This is not an easy thing to do by the way. Many times it depends where your lot in life is. But hard work and dedication has brought many people prestige and respect. In this world there are countless of ways to get ahead and seek the approval of man. Some means are very humbling and other ways just down right criminal. The best way to excel this world and protect yourself from the man is to honor God. If you want to be somebody it takes many times for you to know somebody. The best sales person sometimes is the one who knows somebody important. Even if you had all the talent in the world, you still need networking and finding suitors. The best person to know to be somebody in this world is God. Jesus is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. To know Christ as LORD and Savior is huge potential for greatness. To know the King of the Glory is of highest of privilege's. Oh to be known in Heaven even if in Earth you are not known by the highest of people. When God in Christ comes to the sons of men He knows how to turn even the hearts of Kings in His Favor. He owns it all and gives freely. With Him are riches and honor, enduring wealth and righteousness. His fruit is better than gold, even fine gold, and his yield than choice silver. He walks in righteousness, in paths of justice. Those who love Him inherit wealth. He will fill their treasuries. Be somebody today, Know Jesus. He will give you favor with God and man.
