Oh To Be Wise Meditations
We are not to be following the signs but the signs are to be following us. I heard someone say this I thought that was very powerful. Scripture says: Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” That was in the book of Mark chapter 16. I find it amazing that those who believe in Jesus will see miraculous signs and wonders. It will follow them and its not something that they have to pursue. I you believe in Jesus the power of God will be revealed through your life and ministry. Hear Jesus again to you: Everyone who believes me will be able to do wonderful things. By using my name they will force out demons, and they will speak new languages. LORD, Jesus show your power and glory through my sanctified life. I don't have to chase signs and wonders, they will follow me according to your will and purpose. The greatest wonder of it all is that you would choose me to serve your great Kingdom.
