Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Living thoughtlessly and wasting time. These are two things that rob us of our joy and peace. Your going to die before you know it. It is better to take thought on certain things and think it through. Don't always do what seems right to a man. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. There are those who are clean in their own eyes but are not washed of their filth. They waste their time in sin and pleasure. They may say, “Come and join us. Let’s hide and kill someone! Just for fun, let’s ambush the innocent! Let’s swallow them alive, like the grave; let’s swallow them whole, like those who go down to the pit of death. Think of the great things we’ll get! We’ll fill our houses with all the stuff we take. Come, throw in your lot with us; we’ll all share the loot.” Listen, there is only one way to live. If you wander from that way, you give up a life of joy and peace for a living death of misery and trouble. The wisdom of God calls out today, come whoever is thoughtless. Come whoever is lacking understanding. You only have one life, live it for the LORD and you will live life more abundantly and gain eternal life.
