Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Affirmation goes a long way especially when someone is good at something. I still remember my mother affirming me with my handwriting in 4th grade. My teacher told her I was one of the best spellers and my handwriting was excellent. Every time I wrote something down she would remind me of my gifting and to do my best every time. She is long gone and past away but I still remember her sweet voice of discipline and encouragement went I write. I still want to take the time and write things out properly. Amazing how if you train up a child in the way they should go they will not depart from it. It stays with you, yes both good and bad. Oh Father in heaven, thank you for Holy Spirit who is making me into the image of Christ. Each day you are writing your law of love in my heart and renewing my mind. You are training me up all the days of my life so that as I grow in the knowledge of Christ I will not depart from the way of the righteous. LORD Jesus, I feel your affirmation every time I pray in your name.
