Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Peace with the enemy. Oh LORD may it not be. That in my life I have made peace with the enemy. I have given up in fighting the good fight of faith. I have given up in the struggle of removing sin in my heart and mind and not just for show in front of people. No, may it not be that the peace of rebellion has settled in and I now live in enmity against God. Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him. And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Its time we tear down the altars of sin and lust in our hearts. Its time we come out of the compliancy in our sins and start fighting for lives to be fought in the Spirit. Raise up your the sword of your word in me Jesus and cut down anything that has risen up against you. I am tired of being sick and tired. Making peace with the enemy when I should be declaring war! Jesus breath in me zeal and passion to overcome the way you overcame this world. I want to make a mess of the enemies plans for me. Cleanse the temple of my soul oh LORD my God. I am awake ready for transformation and power to live free and at odds with the enemy of my soul!
