Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The Wise Applies. This new week LORD I want to continue to apply your wisdom in my life. It is wise to learn the Word and live it out. But part of application is obedience. Submitting to Gods word and just continual obeying it. The wise apply themselves and make sure to be obedient in the process. It is so easy to hear wisdom and think of it as a good idea. But never making that effort to obey and seek more than just knowledge. When you apply yourself to the Word of God you not just getting head knowledge. You are getting the precious Holy Spirit to renew your mind and heart. Daily your obedience to Christ is removing the thoughts and patterns and habits that keep you in sin and slack. I hear you say Jesus: I am teaching you today—yes, you— so you will trust in the LORD. Pay attention and turn your ear to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach, for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips.
