Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Godly percentages. This life on earth is easier when you believe what God has said. It is just so much harder when you try to figure it out on your own. If you follow the living word you will live a better more fulfilled life. And God can and has proved it even in a world full of sin and decay. Through Christ real spirit and life is possible in godless societies and countries. I think of a good example of this is found in scripture, where Moses and Aaron were confronted with magicians in Egypt. In Ex. 7:11 Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and it became a serpent. Right then and there, the Pharaoh called his wise men and sorcerers and magicians and shockingly did the same things by their magic arts. Each one threw down his staff, and it became a serpent. Well there you have it, mankind in their own wisdom and inspiration challenged God so it seems. In our world today it seems the same way, humanity has figured out how to use the things of God and make it there own. Carving out there own ideology and there own ways. While there may be some wisdom to their ways, in the end godly percentages will win out any argument of this world. Wisdom apart from God has some of God's principles mixed with sinful errors. Whether it be spiritual or demonic in nature, or just the foolishness of man. God's wisdom is like the snake of Aaron, in the end it consumed all the other staffs that were turned into snakes. The LORD will allow humanity and even the devil to reason with Him, but both fail in there ways to rebel against His Word. Again, do things Gods way in a world that doesn't always make sense. You will be better off for sure because the fear of the LORD is the beginning of all wisdom and knowledge. There is no progressive argument that can rival the one whom made all things from its very infancy. True believers demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and they take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Don't worry like the world, though they have merit and some partial truths, go ahead and follow the living word all the way through. God's snake will devour the snakes of this world. Godly percentages are trustworthy. So when the world worries itself to death you should brace yourself, because somewhere they are plotting a scare of the week. Air is polluted, water is too, fish that swim in it are not good for you. Fruit and vegetables delicious you say don't eat them they are loaded with pesticide spray. Avoid dairy products and say no to red meat. Cholesterol levels must go in retreat. The rays of the sun will threaten you, stay in your house or the radon will get you. If you walk in the woods you could get sick, lime disease is spread by a pin sized tick. If one thing won't get you another one will. But don't worry be happy because worry can kill. Listen, lets allow God to be God and not fear to truly live righteously. His wisdom will protect us from folly, and his peace will protect us from what the world worries about constantly.
