Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Honor the heart. If God looks at the heart how much more should we? To not judge by appearance or class but by the character of the heart. Oh LORD give me the patience to hear someone's heart. And not judge by the flesh or the culture of the day. To give people the benefit of the doubt and desire mercy rather than judgment. For the LORD saves the humble people, but the haughty eyes He brings down. Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. There is a wisdom that comes from humility, taking the time to honor the heart whether right or wrong. You have heard, O LORD, the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their hearts. You will incline Your ear, to vindicate the fatherless and oppressed, that the men of the earth may strike terror no more. So will I incline my ear and honor the heart of my neighbor.
