Oh To be Wise Meditations

Your purity from sin comes from your relationship with Christ. Yes, you discipline your body and bring every thought into submission. You pray and and fast and pursue growth in the knowledge of Scripture. But your lasting victory comes from your relationship with Christ. Your works meaning nothing to your purity from sin. It has to be supernatural fruit grown in you from your time in God's presence. Jesus has cleansed our conscience from dead works by his blood so that we can do good works birthed through His Righteousness in us. Oh LORD, you will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Its the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, that will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. For the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and He also has become my salvation. Seek the presence of the LORD at all times so we can stay living in the light of His Holiness. Jesus makes us holy and no amount of our works will do. He is truly our salvation.
