Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The Lord says, "Turn to me now and be saved, people all over the world! I am the only God there is. My righteousness draws near, My salvation is on the way, and My arms will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look for Me and wait in hope for My arm. I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word: Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to me.” It will be said to Me: Righteousness and strength is only in the LORD." All who are enraged against Him will come to Him and be put to shame. I will praise your mighty deeds, O Sovereign LORD. I will tell everyone that you alone are just. It is my prayer that you will draw those who do not know you to your sweet Spirit. That they may find your heart of love and sure salvation. LORD our God, we have been ruled by others, but you alone are our LORD. You are the one we trust to bring about justice; above all else we want your name to be honored. So let us press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the earth. Turn to the Lord and be refreshed by his salvation. Meditate Is. 56:1
