Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Keep no receipts. God knows everything you do for Him. Even the things no one else sees but Him. The things done in secret the Father will reward us openly. Jesus says if we testify to his glory here on earth he will share our name in heaven! Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. The temptation is to keep receipts and become bitter when you will be paid back from the LORD. Take joy in this no matter what: you will be paid back in resurrection of all the saints and being counted worthy. God is able to make change out of your life and pay you back with interest. Jesus knows the very hairs on our head, and knows how to bless his servants of the Most High God! “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
