Oh To Be Wise Meditations

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Blessed is the one whose sin the LORD does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit. Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty. You bless them by saying, "You told me your sins, without trying to hide them, and now I forgive you." What a gift made available by God to confess our sins and not be condemn. No longer need to go to a priest or religious fervor to atone for your sins. Jesus forgives freely and always when we confess our sins to Him. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Oh Jesus, I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.
