Proverbs a 38 yr old man
Blood of recompense. When I’m sorry is never enough, the blood of Christ is enough. There will be so many people in heaven that will be forgiven of heinous sin. Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people, none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Recompense on earth was never possible. The only real vengeance comes from the LORD. On the Cross justice and mercy kissed and salvation was offered to all who believe. Until the Kingdom of Heaven comes to earth we will be in the in between. Where true equity is never to be made. And only redemption is possible through the precious blood of Jesus. You could never pay back fully what you owe to others you have offended. All you can do is live a redeemed life. A life even though filled with shame and guilt, but covered by the blood. Live every day redeeming the time. Yes, the grace that pours from the Cross is there for all who believe and walk in it. Walk by faith. And live a life of recompense. Jesus has paid the price that you can be born again, yes live again even from a broken life you can make recompense. Its the gift of redemption offered to us by Christ Jesus our LORD. So powerful. The greatest thing a redeemed person in Christ can offer to recompense a wrong is to live a life of repentance, and that covered by the blood of Jesus. So that anything you do even though never enough, the blood is enough. Praise God. The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight. And this only made possible by the blood of recompense, the shed blood of Jesus. Go. Go and sin no more. Go live a redeemed life to the glory of God!
