Proverbs of 38 yr old man
Wisdom unto salvation. Eat honey, my child, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste. Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. We are God's children. He sent Christ Jesus to save us and to make us wise, acceptable, and holy. He has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the LORD: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” Praise God! The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks it out. Because you asked for Christ who is wisdom unto salvation and nothing else. And you did not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies. No, you instead hungered and thirsted after righteousness, seeking first his kingdom and his righteousness. Because of your humble confession of faith in Christ, all these things are added unto you. Hear me out: My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
