Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Don't sink. Don't sink your life into the cares of this world but cast all your anxiety on The Lord because He cares for you. Ships do not sink because of the water around them, they only sink because of the water that gets in them. Instead of resting in the boat during the storms of life, we are constantly shoveling water out as we flood in despair. Don't wait to let what's happening around us get inside us and weigh us down. “Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Allow Jesus to be Captain of your soul and the Holy Spirit to be the wind to your sails. He will keep us afloat and steady no matter the season or trouble.

There is one thing too wonderful too understand: the way a ship sails on the open seas. And Praise God, the way a human life is guided by the Spirit of Christ through such treacherous and dangerous evil times.
