What is sacrificial love? Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. Our view of love many times is superficial and worldly. We need to daily look at the Cross and be reminded of the love God wants us to live in. To not love from selfish motives but from the overflow of Christ's love. Having a pure willingness to suffer so that the love of God my be glorified through you. Your life must be controlled by love, just as Christ loved us and gave his life for us as a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice that pleases God. Yes, when we obeyed the truth our souls were made pure. Now from this purity of the Living Word in your heart, sincerely love one other. Keep on loving with all your heart and lay down your life for the call of Christ .
