Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
Meditations from a watchmen on the wall. (Part 2) When the watchmen sees the enemy coming, they sound the alarm to warn the people. Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die. They heard the alarm but ignored it, so the responsibility is theirs. If they had listened to the warning, they could have saved their lives. If I as a watchmen, see the enemy of our souls coming and do not sound the alarm to warn my household of faith, my own family and friends. God forbid, that I am responsible for their captivity. So I must stay awake and pray. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world. As a watchmen I have seen the heat of battle up close. I have seen a man healed before, and I personally have been saved from fatal accidents twice. I have seen the very wicked repent and I've seen opportunities happen when doors were shut. Though I have never seen God I have felt his very presence as real as the skin on my bones! I also as a watchmen have seen good men die, I have seen sick people prayed for not healed. I have seen good people turn evil and fight against the Kingdom of Heaven. As I look out into battlefield from my watchmen position, I am reminded to give thanks to the Father who has enabled me to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. Yes, the nights are cold and darkness covers the world. But my joy comes in the morning when I see the Sun of Righteousness rising to expose the evil deeds of men. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
For those who honor Jesus, victory will shine like the sun with healing in its rays, they will jump around like calves at play! I am a watchman on the wall of faith. Hear me pray.
