First impressions go a long way and last a long time. Make the decision when first sharing your faith to forego philosophical or theological discussions regarding inconsequential things and opinions. Share only Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Yes, what the meaning of His redemptive, substitutionary death and His resurrection means to you. The power of the Gospel is a great first impression and your testimony last a long time. Preach God's message and do it willingly, even if it isn't the popular thing to do. You must correct people and point out their sins. But also cheer them up, and when you instruct them, always be patient.
