Don't judge a person's character by the size of the Bible they carry. You can tell what they are by what they do. Yes, by their spiritual fruit you will recognize the godly. Are any of you wise or sensible? Then show it by living right and by being humble and wise in everything you do. God's Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled. There is no law against behaving in any of these ways.
Out of the fruit of righteousness grows a tree of life, and if you act wisely, others will follow.
