Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Again I saw something on the earth that had no purpose, the lonely man. This man lived completely alone, without any companion. He did not even have a son or a brother. But he was always working hard because he was not content with his wealth. He must ask himself, ‘Who am I helping when I work so hard? And why am I not having pleasure?’ His life will have meant nothing, a very unhappy situation. Human life is but a breath, and it disappears like a shadow. Our struggles are senseless; we store up more and more, without ever knowing who will get it all. The LORD has built a lofty home, a place to belong and have your dwelling forever. In the Body of Christ the lonely find there purpose. God in his holy dwelling is a father of the fatherless and a champion of widows. The LORD protects foreigners; He sustains the fatherless and the widow, but the ways of the wicked He frustrates. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. Some wandered in the wilderness, lost and homeless. Hungry and thirsty, they nearly died. LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he rescued them from their distress. He led them straight to safety, to a city where they could live. A better country--a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
