Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Plead the blood. Pleading the blood of Christ is not needed to defeat Satan. He has already been defeated, and, if we are born again, Satan has no power over us other than what God allows for His purpose and glory. The power of darkness and has been overcome by the power of the blood. While their is no need to continually plead the blood, a Christian should be aware of all that the blood and death of Christ has accomplished. They should be thankful and expressing that is very good and true. We have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and He is our High Priest and mediator who always lives to make intercession for us. He is like a Great Shepherd whose blood was used to make God's eternal agreement with his flock. Because God’s children are human beings made of flesh and blood, the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. The blood was shed for our sins and Jesus ever lives to plead his blood for us. In the old covenant, Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, "This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words." In the new covenant, Jesus took the cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," he said to them. Truly I tell you, I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God. The blood of Christ has been put on the door posts of our hearts through faith. If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. Yes, Jesus pleads his blood. Amen.
