Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
No person is an island. You need others to intercede on your behalf. You need others to do their part so that you can succeed. Sometimes your best isn't enough because others around you are not giving there best. Just like it takes a village to raise a child, its a whole body to care for believers. We were not meant to deal with this life alone. When others fail us we do not disown, we repair and mend. Pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. What happens is we become to dependent on ourselves and don't allow God to bring people in our lives to help us. You can't live completely independently. Everyone needs help from other people, especially from God. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. He has provided for us a Kingdom to be it's citizens, and a fellowship to be its body.
