Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
Caught up in the presence. Just one look at the Kingdom, just a gaze at the beauty of Christ in his throne, and I am fully undone. Everything makes sense again. Mountains in my life are brought down low, and valleys are made level again. My spirit is more alive than ever just because of one look, yes just one view of Jesus lifted up in all his glory. I can go another minute, another hour, and another day because I see the LORD Jesus seated at the Right Hand of the Father! The pain of this world, the struggles of this life, and the pressures of sin's conformity are all gone, with just one look from his precious eyes towards me. He doesn't need to say anything I am content with his eyes of fire raging in my heart. Show me your glory Jesus and expose me to the truth of your love. Let your mercy flow over me and let your goodness cover me like a blanket. No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like. You dwell in an unapproachable light of holiness. But LORD, I am caught up in your presence and I imagine seeing your back like Moses did. Only now, all I can think about is the stripes that were placed on your back so that I can be healed! I see you LORD if only for just a moment, risen and reigning in your throne room of grace. With your nail pierced hands stretched out before me I hear you say, I can do this. I can overcome. Stay caught up my presence.
