Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
I Thirst To Pray. To turn the faucet of heaven and refresh myself in the LORD my God. I thirst, I thirst for the Living God! I want to drink up spirit and life as rivers of living water quench my inner being. This so I can water souls that are dry and spritz encouragement on those with a planted seed. The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But the LORD will answer them and he will not forsake them. He will open up rivers for them on the high plateaus. He will give them fountains of water in the valleys, filling the desert with pools of water. Yes, rivers fed by springs will flow across the parched ground. It is the LORD that guides us continually, giving water when we are dry and restoring our strength. We will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. Fill us Jesus like a cloud preparing for rain, may our prayers shower down your blessings according to your word. You are my God and I worship you. In my heart, I long for you, as I would long for a stream in a scorching desert. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Where can I go and meet with Him? Oh weary soul go now in the green pastures of prayer. Christ will lead you besides still waters to restore your thirsty soul.
