Desire fulfilled is sweet to the taste and finally thanksgiving is upon us. Put aside all other meals and enjoy of the feast of plenty, the feast of more than enough! Look at the fellowship table and see with your own eyes how much of abundance their is at this time of year. Past around are our pastime favorites, remembering to enjoy it all over again like newborn babies craving pure spiritual milk. Giving thanks so that we mature in our faith and grow up in our salvation. Yes, taste and see that the LORD is good, take refuge in him. You have tasted in the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age. So your soul is satisfied as with the richest of foods; with joyful lips your mouth will praise Him! LORD Jesus, we feast on the abundance of Your house, and You give us drink from your river of delights. For you satisfies the thirsty and fill the hungry with good things. On this thanksgiving whether we have a little bit or more than enough, be reminded of the feast to come in heaven. Where all loved ones and heroes of the faith will unite into a epic thanksgiving banquet. Till then, look around the table feast and with those we have still with us share the gift of the Spirit with each other. There is plenty of peace and love to go around found in Christ. Jesus is the God of more than enough, he himself is the feast of plenty. For whoever eats of his flesh and drinks of his blood has eternal life, and He will raise them up at the last day. Give thanks for the giving of Gods only Son to us.
