Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
Do not forget that God is good even in such a dark and cruel world. Yes, even in this world, the good man gets what he deserves. So does the man who hates God. Even the evil man will get what he deserves. God is fair with everybody. The good man will receive good things. God will provide for him. God is also fair with evil people. They will receive a fair punishment. Evil shall pursue sinners; but good shall overtake the righteous. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor. But if anyone returns evil for good, evil will never leave their house. Those who despises instruction will pay the penalty, but the one who respects a command will be rewarded. God loves mercy and truth: the LORD will give grace and glory. For surely You, O LORD, bless the righteous; You surround them with the shield of Your favor.
