Life is not about being busy, but about being effective. One of the greatest fears of our lives is to be so busy and yet not be productive. Not seeing the fruit of our labor or our hard work come true. )This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the LORD. “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the LORD Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house.) Yes, we can be more organized in tasks and projects. Focus on a few things at a time and not neglect the greater things of the heart. But more than that let us busy ourselves in the things of God, especially in the matters of the Spirit. Things will be done with way more effectiveness because of the sharpening edge of Holy Spirit is us. Avoiding so much of the cares of this world as we care for the spiritual things of heaven first. You have planted much but harvested little. You eat but never have enough. You drink but never have your fill. You put on clothes but never get warm. You earn wages to put into a bag pierced through. We busy ourselves and never have enough. Lets busy ourselves in Gods presence and in his word. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.
