Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

Pigs like to wallow in the mud. They get comfortable in it, and make their bed in it. But sheep if they get stuck in mud they cry out to be free. They do not like to be stuck in the fifthly mud. They look to the Shepherd to guide them to clean springs so they can wash off. Do not be like the pigs wallowing in sin and sorrow, many of us have made our bed in the muck and miry holding God in contempt. But be like the sheep, though we fall into deep sorrow and guilt we cry out to Jesus to get us in a better space to heal properly. Only Jesus can clean us up from our guilt and shame and wash us in his blood. It is a day by day renewal where Living Springs of Holy Spirit begin to flow within you. This as you stay away from the muddy waters of sorrow that darken your understanding. Don't be content with eating the pods of pigs, evil spirits are cast there in condemnation. You have pearls of life given to you by Christ, keep them clean from sin and sorrow. Keep them washed in pure living waters daily. Sorrow is better than laughter, for sadness has a refining influence on us. But the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
