People cannot discover the purpose of their lives by just thinking about it. Yet God has given to humanity a strong desire to know and search out meaning and purpose. People want to discover the truth about why we live in this world. And God wants people to discover this truth too. He is the only answer to the purpose of our lives. So people are not peaceful without God. People cannot expect to control the wind. A hurricane or tornado does what it wants, you cannot control the wind. In the same way, you cannot expect to understand all that happens in the world. We cannot do everything. Sometimes we cannot change our circumstances. People must realize that they cannot know everything. Look, I see a wise person according to this world that studies all human behavior. Knowing a lot of facts about the world, always wanting to understand more. Wanting to be really wise all the time. Wanting to understand what stupid behavior and foolish behavior means. Although searching carefully was not successful. Felt like somebody who was trying to catch the wind. It was an impossible task. When you know more about people and about situations, you will worry more. You will think about whether you should help to discover a solution to the problems. You will be sad because people suffer. And you will not always understand why some things go wrong. You are not God. But you were created in his Image to be like Him and know Him. And in knowing Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior, you will find peaceful purpose for your souls. Before the world was created, God had Christ choose us to live with him and to be his holy and innocent and loving people. God was kind and decided that Christ would choose us to be God's own adopted children. God treated us with undeserved grace because of the Son he dearly loves, and so we should praise God. Christ sacrificed his life's blood to set us free, which means our sins are now forgiven. Christ did this because of God's gift of undeserved grace to us. God has great wisdom and understanding, and by what Christ has done, God has shown us his own mysterious ways. Then when the time is right, God will do all he has planned, and Christ will bring together everything in heaven and on earth. God always does what he plans, and this is why he appointed Christ to choose us. He did this so we Jews would bring honor to him and be the first ones to have hope because of him. Christ also brought you the truth, which is the good news about how you can be saved. You put your faith in Christ and were given the promised Holy Spirit to show you belong to God. The Spirit also makes us sure we will be given what God has stored up for his people. Then we will be set free, and God will be honored and praised.
