Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

If you can get a small commitment from someone it may lead to a bigger contribution. Give me a leader more than a follower. One that chooses to lead and sets a holy example for others to follow. Those who just follow become wanderers. They follow enough to be part of the crowd, but not closely enough to reap the benefits of oneness. Together people are stronger, especially those united in faith, hope, and love. Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good. Many followers are lead away by sinful desires leaving the flock of God. People that follow must take the reins and learn in discipline how to lead by example. In time the desire to lead will rise up. You need leaders in all areas of life. At work, at home, at church, at government. Leaders are necessary. The ones that notice the times, the needs, and honorably fill in the gaps. They lead without even being asked, living a life that honors God. Leaders are servants first and need to point out strength in their followers. Leaders lead with passion and are admired and imitated. Yes, remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. In the Holy Spirit you become a natural born leader. Be leader for Christ. The LORD Jesus sees even the smallest commitments and honors you with his constant love and peace.
