But Christ has blessed you with the Holy Spirit. Now the Spirit stays in you, and you don't need any teachers. The Spirit is truthful and teaches you everything. So stay one in your heart with Christ, just as the Spirit has taught you to do. Christians do not need anyone else to decide for them what is right and wrong. They know what is right or wrong by God's Spirit in them. All humanity is bent towards sin and in our own strength we cannot strive with Holy Spirit, we are not able to keep Gods law morality perfect. This is the whole purpose of the Gospel, to be able to have a new heart, born again in the newness of life Jesus offers. Don't get me wrong, we do need teachers. But Christians have to test what their teachers teach. This is what God's Spirit does for the Christian. He teaches the Christian what to believe. And He teaches him or her what to refuse. That is why we need a close relationship with Jesus the Living Word. Yes, a road to Emmaus experience where we know the truth and it has set us from the continual sin in our lives. Evil people don’t understand justice, but those who follow the LORD understand completely. And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
