Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
We are no smarter than the Neanderthal. Just because we know what a germ and atom is, and have Google and Wi-Fi does not make us anymore wiser than the ancients. All we have is more knowledge, and that to invent new ways to sin. With each passing generation humanity has been defiled by their own works, playing the harlot by their own deeds. There have been so many that hate the LORD and cringe before him; they are doomed forever without Him. And all those same evil desires practiced long ago have been experienced by all of humanity to this point. There is so much pride of life in our time, because we know more we are a better off civilization. I can see how someone could think that. But so many of our human ancestors lived longer than us, I am thinking of the Nephilim who were once giants here on earth. There are things the ancients did that we still haven't figured out. The one thing our generation can do better for sure is destroy each other quicker and with more efficiency. And not just with weapons of mass destruction but with complexed ideologies and theories mixed with all kinds of ancient wisdom of course. I think of the Progressivism movement today like the old Progressive Insurance commercial of the cavemen. The famous commercial quote was: So easy a caveman can do it. I am sure nowadays there is a lot of things the ancient caveman would question morally about our progressive society. Hear the LORD echo from the ancient book of Genesis: My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed. When Jesus comes will He find faith on the earth?
