We have come expecting because we know the hope of the righteous leads to joy. The expectations of the wicked come to nothing. Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so the hope of the godless will perish.
Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always continue to fear the LORD. You will be rewarded for this; your hope will not be disappointed and your expectation will not be cut off. If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored. We have come expecting and we will receive what we came for, his weighty presence. Returning justified and pleasing to God's sight in Christ. But so many people will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Come LORD Jesus, I am expecting.
