Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

After Jesus gathers his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. They won't follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don't know his voice. Individual members of the flock recognize Jesus' voice because they have been given the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, we would not be able to follow Jesus. Notice Jesus walks ahead of us and leads us. We are to grow in his righteousness, knowing the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of suffering. As we grow in relationship with Christ his voice becomes clearer to our hearts and minds through the Holy Spirit working in us. Remember that there are voices everywhere and they are always addressing us. Let the Spirit within determine who they really are. If it’s the voice of Jesus he will lead you down the path of righteousness of his name sake. Amen
