Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
Meat on the bones. A good father and mother wants there child not to waste such quality meat that's left on the bone. I hear our Heavenly Father say there is much meat left on the bones of scripture. Do not throw away such wonderful thought or inspiration you had in the very scripture you just read. There is much meat in those bones of scripture to pick apart. Christ has killed the fatten calf and prepared a feast for us in his word. Listen, my child, be wise and give serious thought to the way you live. Do not associate with those who drink too much wine, with those who eat too much meat, because both a drunk and a glutton will become poor. Drowsiness will dress a person in rags. The sin gluttoned soul is never satisfied and leaves behind the meat on the bones. Only eating what they see in scripture for there own selfish gain. Listen to your heavenly father, who gave you life through Jesus Christ our LORD. Do not despise his wisdom, bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let us feast and celebrate in his word today. For there is much spiritual meat on the living bones of scripture. Christ's flesh is real food, and his blood is real drink.
