Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
The snare of man. The fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. Fearing people is a dangerous trap, hear me out. If you start living your life to please people instead of God beware of the snare of man coming. It's a trap that will leave you vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy of our souls. Getting caught up in the bear trap of sin and pride leaves you stuck with a throbbing pain of the soul. Ensnared by the wicked devices of man you are easy Pickens for evil spirits to destroy you. With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous. Get up! Get up! The snare of man has made you so fearful that you are disobeying God to please man. The people God accepts will live because of their faith. But he isn't pleased with anyone who turns back. We don't belong with those who turn back and are destroyed. Instead, we belong with those who have faith and are saved. Evil people are trapped by sin, but the righteous escape, shouting for joy. Go now and don't wallow in your sins and regret. Do not let the fear of man keep you from having a living faith in Christ. The enemy sees you trapped in sin and wants to sift you like wheat. Yes, skin you alive as people try to tear down from your Sonship. Let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall. The righteous person is rescued from trouble, and it falls on the wicked instead. Leave the snare of pleasing man behind, only fools keeps getting stuck in this snare of man. Ask yourself am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
