Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
It's going to be a good life. Yes, it's going to be a great life, this new life hidden in Christ. I got this feeling that I can't fight, a fire within me that can give light like a city on a hill. Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. With a new heart and a new spirit within me everything looks clearer now. When we were baptized, we died and were buried with Christ. We were baptized, so we would live a new life, as Christ was raised to life by the glory of God the Father. Let's not spend the rest of our lives chasing our own desires, but be anxious to do the will of God. Our real life is Christ and when he appears, then we too will appear with him and share his glory! Live the good life hidden in Christ there is much fruit to enjoy now and forevermore! Look at the redeemed shouting for joy from there heavenly home Zion! They are radiant because of the LORD’s good gifts, there abundant crops of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and the healthy flocks and herds. Their life is like a watered garden, and all their sorrows are gone. For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. So live as people of light! Live the good life.
