Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
The Salted Life. Salt is righteousness and Sugar is sin. Too much sugar is needed to make something taste good. But just enough salt is perfect. If salt loses its flavor than no amount will do for added taste. You need that zest for life that only comes from God. The sugar of sin has numbed your appetite for righteousness. Filling you with so much sugar that your soul is in diabetic shock. Cut back and cut out on the sweets of sin and to get back to the salted life. Just alittle bit of righteousness will do wonders to your spiritual taste. Even with just alittle of Holy Spirit you will see that you will never be saltless again. It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Yes, will we purified by fire as a sacrifice is purified by salt. So better is a dish of vegetables where there is love than a fattened ox with hatred.
