My mind is my heart and my heart is my mind. The physical heart is a muscle to the brain pumping blood through out the body. Amazing how the human heart and brain work together. The spiritual heart works with the subconscious part of the mind the same way. Hear me out. The subconscious part of our mind is not fully aware but influences one's actions and feelings. What we allow in our minds subconsciously affects our morals and behavior. That is why we tend to look at the mind as a heart, an expression of what we believe and continue to have our being. The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is but a Holy God? Things that really matter to you and you constantly think about make up your heart. And your new mind in Christ is a terrible thing to waste. For the flesh alone cannot please God. Our hearts need new life from Jesus so we can be able to continually please God by faith. The heart is like the hard drive of your life. People do not see who you really are because your hiding behind the body of a computer. But let people start pressing buttons and they will see what has been programming in you through the years. Jesus wants to download his word and life in our hearts to give us a fruitful mind able to thrive. My mind is my heart and my heart is my mind. We have new hearts transformed by the love of God in Christ. Lets pursue the desires and passions God has for us coming from His Heart to ours. This is a true saying: For as a man thinks in his heart so is he.
