Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

A faithful friend. Every needs a faithful friend in their lives. Someone to do life with and share joys and hurts. To share dreams and passions, and have someone to share the truth even when its painful. Woe to someone who falls in a ditch and has no one to help them out. So many people are stuck in a dark hole of despair and could use a hand up. A thoughtful word, a good deed, or a gift of gain. A faithful friend is hard to find, so do your due diligence to be one yourself first. A faithful friend knows another faithful friend. Even our enemies can become a faithful friend. Do to others as you would like them to do to you. If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return. Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. A person who is full refuses honey, but even bitter food tastes sweet to the hungry. May the LORD lead us to people that need a faithful friend. Yes, help them get that bitter taste of life out of their mouth, and share with them the faithful love of Jesus.
