Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

God does not honor your privacy. He knows everything that we do in private. He sees our secret actions and motives. And the wrong things we do we cannot hide it from Him. We may think that nobody knows, but He knows everything. Nothing is hidden from God! He sees through everything, and we will have to tell him the truth. This is why we must live in the truth and not live secret lives. Because of sin in our hearts though we tend love darkness rather than light, lies rather than truth, and folly rather than wisdom. Without the Spirit of Christ we will wander and hide from God, this because of our guilt and shame. Jesus wants to take our stubborn hearts and give us a new heart that desire to be faithful. Yes, a mind that only has pure thoughts and is eager to obey the living word of God. We will then enjoy living in the light as He is in the light. No longer do we hide from God and conceal our sins. People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl or under a bed. A lamp is always put on a lampstand, so people who come into a house will see the light. But whatever you try to put under a bowl or under a bed God will still see because of his holy light that pierces through any darkness. There is nothing hidden that will not be found. There is no secret that will not be well known. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad. LORD Jesus, you have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence. But then you extend your nail pierced hands as far as the east is from the west. As you forgive the guilt and shame of your people and cover all their sins. Jesus come invade my privacy.
