Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
Oh God in Christ work in my life! I want to really know what love is! I’m ready for you, I not scared anymore! There is no fear in my love for you anymore. Whatever your will is I accept it. In my life, there's been heartache and pain. I don't know if I can face it again. But I can't stop now, I've traveled so far ahead. Oh God, change this lonely life! Gotta take a little time. Little time to look around me and get my footing. I've got nowhere left to hide, my guilt and shame are ever before me. I not ashamed of the Gospel, it’s power to set men free. Yes, looks like love has finally found me. My heart has become soft and tender, I feel everything that is good and right. I hate evil and love righteousness. Jesus, I want to know what love is. I want to feel what love is. I want you to show me. I am not afraid anymore of your Will for my life. I trust in the process of your sanctification. But this is a mountain, I must climb. Feels like a world upon my shoulders. Through the clouds, I see your love shine LORD. It keeps me warm as life grows colder through the years. As I behold you daily in the Living Word, I am becoming love Himself. You Jesus as I behold you, I become like you. Truly coming to know what love is through the Spirit of Christ knowing me and renewing me. I know who Love is!
