Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

Some things should be said short and sweet. When words are many, sin is unavoidable, but he who restrains his lips is wise. Eyes glaze over and burdened hearts lose focus and care. Amazing how a fools voice is with a multitude of words. The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness. Now, some things do need to be said in detail and explained properly. Nothing left out because that is when mistakes happen and relationships get broken. If only you would have said more and not held back. Many times we get carried away with emotions and say the wrong things as well. If only you would have said less and let God say more. Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice, to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth. After that comes the sound of his roar; he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back. God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. Oh help us LORD to use our words tactfully and gracefully. I’ve said enough already, You finish what I started in the hearts of your readers and write it in detail like only you can.
