Ignored. You ever feel ignored? People over looking you. Maybe you’re timid and people mistake that for a weakness and pass you by. Or maybe not feeling appreciated for all your hard work and dedication. Also, many times people just are not going to like you. Your spirits don’t quite get along well and they ignore you. Being ignored in any sense of the way is crushing to the heart. You may have so much to say and do, if only people would pay attention to you. It’s one of the hardest things you will have to deal and face in your life. You being ignored though is great time for you to spend more time with God. He never ignores you when you come with a broken and contrite heart. Those he will never turn us away. But he will ignore the prayers on our lips if our hearts are far from him and our prayers are amiss. Now, I truly believe with all my heart that a life lived for God cannot be ignored forever. If need be the rocks will cry because of the wonderful works of Christ in your life. Everybody wants to be heard, but few are willing to listen. And how can someone truly listen when they are ignoring everyone around them. Our minds and hearts are blown by the winds of the day so easily. If you feel ignored by others today, take that time to listen in Gods presence. He will shine his face on you, the radiance of His Son. You will begin to have this light on your face that people want to have as well. And even for the moment or minutes you have with them they want to know why you are so joyful. They have seen Christ in you which is hard to ignore, the very power of the Gospel in your life. Ignorance is bliss to those who only care about themselves. But as you see the Light of Christ in your life you are able to see those who are being ignored and exploited. These people need a voice. For it is the sick that need a doctor. Many times those who ignore and deny the work of God in our lives are the very same people that The LORD prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. In that table we will not be ignored, we will eat and be satisfied, we will be heard and not denied. Wait. Your time is coming. The LORD hears you and knows you. Do not discouraged, now is the time to listen and get stronger and wiser.
