Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
One life. Look at what the LORD can do with just one life. Seems so insignificant and small. Like one of the thousands of shells on a seashore. Yes, just one life lived for the LORD though will never come back to Him in void. Jesus the Living Word goes into the heart and mind of a believer and produces spiritual fruit for the Kingdom. He accomplishes all He wants even with just one life. Prospering everywhere He sends them. For it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding. Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. Through one life God can reach the many. Through Christs one life He saved us all. Jesus says, I tell you for certain that a grain of wheat that falls on the ground will never be more than one grain unless it dies. But if it dies, it will produce lots of wheat. So in the same way a life submitted to God, that dies daily and models the Savior Himself. Will yield much more fruit than if that person remains alone in their faith. As believers die daily, God uses the soil of their hearts and produce lots more disciples through them. Amazing how faith can multiply through believers. It's the power of the Gospel. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. What a gift every born again life receives, the one gift of the Spirit of Christ!
