We have a Champion in Heaven. Many have tried, none have succeeded. For false messiahs and false prophets have risen up and performed signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. Only Jesus has overcome this world and stands victorious at the Right Hand of God! Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. What a Spirit He fashioned for the dead souls of man to emulate! When He rose again and at Pentecost the Holy Spirit came with a holy vengeance to transform our old sinful nature into a godly nature. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Hear me out: Hard work determines the will. It’s the drive in which we live our lives that matters. We need to be trained in our nature by Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ in us. There are certain people that grow up with a tremendous hunger and it's usually people that have struggled when they were young. When you grow up comfortable and in peace and happiness, all those things will produce a very balanced person and a good person, but it will not create the will and determination and hunger that you need to be the best in the world in something. God wants us to be Holy like He is holy, and He has given us his best on the Cross. Pouring out the oil of his Holy Spirit for us to become conformed to the Image of Jesus. No matter who you are in this great big world, you have the opportunity of a lifetime to follow the Radical Upward Call of Christ. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. You have a Champion Spirit in you, take hold today with total abandonment the Gift of Faith, Hope, and Love!
