Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

The world is offended. They want to live differently from what God had planned. The problem with this is that there is so much knowledge in the world that we cannot morally handle it. As Israel grew as a nation law was added to combat the growing sin in people's hearts. The Holy Spirit could not strive with the constant immoral societies causing all kinds of sufferings and problems. Think about this: Christianity translates culture and doesn't dominate it. We don't rely on the state to ensure adherence, we have confidence in the power of God to rule hearts. Jesus once said, The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed are those who are not offended by me. God will bless everyone who doesn't reject me because of what I do. Amen. Remember when Jesus said this: If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. The world is offended at the message of the Gospel, it is foolishness to them. And as society moves away from God and his moral laws people start getting offended with each other. They start to hurt each other when boundaries are removed and the Spirit of God is quenched. We live around so much offense. We have all hurt each other so much that our love for each becomes cold. We don't trust each other anymore because of the sins of our ancestors. The color of our skin offends people now, even kindness is mistaken for as an offense. As lawlessness increases sins coldness increases. Jesus says, watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Lets persevere in our faith ask God for endurance to follow the Way of Christ. People are offended and will be offended by us as we hold on to the Gospel as a sure anchor for our soul. We are to not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the LORD. Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Be humbled by the words of Jesus in Matt. 5:21-22 You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.
