Motivated. You need motivation. Come, lets go the place of the Skull, also known as Golgotha. All four gospels say that Jesus was crucified at the place of the Skull. A skull shaped hill with sunken holes resembling the eyes of a skull in ancient Jerusalem. There Jesus said the words that would shake Heaven and Earth, and I pray these words motivate you to action to live for Christ today. The words are: It Is Finished. A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Be MOTIVATED today by Jesus declaring the end from the beginning on the Cross! There at the place of the Skull He descended into Hell and resurrected again with the keys of hell and death. Hear Him say: I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. May we be MOTIVATED like Jesus who because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Yes, Christ has generously divided out his gifts to us. As the Scriptures say, "When he went up to the highest place, he led away many prisoners and gave gifts to people." When it says, "he went up," it means that Christ had been deep in the earth. And the same one who descended is the one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that he might fill the entire universe with himself! It is finished, now its time for your new life to begin and never end! Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Him will live even though he dies.
